Illusory Nature of Reality.

Dear Journal,

is reality truly real?

can we safely build our future, without worrying that it changes too much?

when someone dies, reality changes... possibly causing great damage to those affected.

nothing is permanent, i think.

i'll leave You too as well someday, Dear Journal.

but there's Reincarnation - rebirth in another body after death, thankfully or not.

i admit, i know too little of that process.

Do NOT hurry Love.

Dear Journal,

i think Love should NOT be hurried,
Enlightened or Not.

otherwise it's Rape,
abuse against our will.

my man should be patient,
wait for as long as i need.

it's woman who leads in Love,
for women know more about.

man should learn & support,
not taking her independence.

not wasting her years of youth,
woman's most precious 'thing'.

if man takes a little,
he should repay the debt.

otherwise the Love will falter,
grow weary & die.

Love should be fought for,
for life's a whole & more.

there's old age & reincarnation,
do not leave 'the One' who Loves.

The Pride.

Dear Journal,

What is a God?

God is state of Mind.

God knows everything, is omnipotent which means: 'can do anything'.

God sometimes misses reality...

God is mind's state associated with pride.

Thankfully there's proper Mantra for exculsive pride complex.

Because not only the God.

Seekers of Enlightened Energies also suffer from that affliction sometimes, i think.

Truth is what joins, not separates.

Non-exclusive Pride is fine, in my opinion.

Deer Hunt (Cirden's Tale).

Snakes attacked, Cirden had to defend himself.

i've explored outside of the Oscuran Cave a little,

Interresting experience, after the wait worthy of Elven patience.

Travelled Nars Pass slowly & surely, across the bridge, southwards, 'till the very
Realm of Norwick in itself.

In Rawlinswood hunted a Deer for food, for elves need to eat as well, if a little.

Cooked the Deer's Venison on a rock & wrapped in leaves for eating when i'll need.

I like to be self-sufficient.

... i think getting into character in roleplaying games is lesser form of identification, can be dangerous if goes too far & deep ... emotional work can hurt on this way.

Blog author's history with Narfell.

Years ago i played this game much too much. i got in a depressed mood by roleplaying a depressed mage character named Attentus.

i wished to quit, but got insight in a Buddhist Center that every step taken during one's life can be a step on a Way for Enlightenment. i got insight that i should play still, but different way - not for enjoyment, but in a beneficial way.

Now i play for others, writing tales for kids, trying to seed their interrest in Buddhism & Esoterics - in meaningful life & friendships - instead of playing only computer games.

D&D Rules & Spells.

Spells alphabetically.

Spells by classes.

Few spells are not available in Pen and Paper D&D - they are Neverwinter Nights game specific.

In case of Narfell, they are server implementation specific.

There are moments when PnP rules are used, per a DM (Dungeon Master, a Storyteller, a Storyguide, a Narrator, a Judge, etc ...) discretion, including creative use of Spells, not available via implemented game mechanics otherwise.

there's also: 'd20 SRD' a ruleset ... perhaps it's also 'more than a ruleset' as well ...

'd20 SRD' is used in 'Narfell' as 'Narfell Community' & 'Related Communities', or it's parts at least, prefer ... in software implementation, as well as in rules, policies, DM(s) decisions ... etc ...
