Possessed Swines & Wounds (Anheim's Tale).

Anheim, Recovering at Norwick's Grapevine Inn.

i went to Old Norwick Ruins next to Norwick Graveyard area, to east or west, always forgettig which side - but i know the path, south then left.

Fought possessed swines, shadows & zombies. Killed many.

i am wounded, had to stop and recover at Norwick's Grapevine. This will take few days at minimum, for i do not trust healing prayers or songs.

It seems that Old Norwick Curse still remains, with so many undead rattling bones, walking, to slay the living - i know this from Chea who is spending considerable amount of time in Libraries.

-- Anheim, wounded a light warrior ...

Deal with Cray (Anheim's Tale).

A chat with Cray, after fight.

i met Man from Oscura, offered service.

got invited on his ship to talk details.

risked life for the Cause, Chea Allin.

tried to change him, with a partial success.

-- Anheim, Anti-Terrorist.

P.S. i mentioned i could go great lengths to prevent him from Terror in all forms. he started to Yield, i am savvy with that.

'Savving', they have.

Lomyriomendur Nain (Character Description).

Name: 'Lomy' Lomyriomendur Nain.
Age: Young elf, in human terms he would be about 23.
Gender: Male.
Alignment: Chaotic Evil.
Race: Moon Elf infused with Fiendish Spirit (Tiefling).
Class: Bard (7) / Ranger (1).

Deity: follows an elven god of trickery, mischief, change & rogues - Erevan Ilsere - but he's far from considering himself a fanatic.

Description: A pale blue-skinned moon elf. From his fancy, colorful simple robes, from a nice scent, from a face & skin make-up, even from voice-tone & demeanor one can guess it's truly a bard. Wears ornamentations of Erevan Ilsere. More cautious and quiet at times than a typical elven entertainer, he carries more weapons than usual as well, not neglecting art-tools at any rate, however.

He's youngest of the three Nain brothers from Cormanthor Woods.

Reputation: Considered slightly haughty by those who know him well, he's occassionally seen stalking the woods with bow, going for animal food & appeasing his hunt-thirst against lesser foes of local community. People usually let him be, women are both attracted & repelled by his looks and demeanor.

Abilities:

Strength: 12+4 (above average / very strong).
Dexterity: 16+4 (truly an Elven grace / exceptional, fiendish grace).
Constitution: 12+2 (above average, even for non-Elf / very fit).
Intelligence: 12+4 (above average, for an Elf or not / fiendish intelligence).
Wisdom: 12 (slightly wiser than usual man).
Charisma: 16+2 (inborn & practiced Elven charm / exceptional fiendish charm).

Lomy's abilities increased significiantly after he was infused with a fiendish spirit energy by a demon master.

'Fiendish spirit that guides me seems to come and go on his whim ... it's exhilirating when he's here and it's quite chaotic, as one could expect of power coming from the Abyss'.

Reeking of Maturity.

Buying Dwarven Chuf at Gemli's

Dear Journal,

i wanted to try something Mature.

So i bought Dwarven Chuf, an Old Cheese, that matures long.

At Gemli's Shop, 'Dwarven Arms & Armory', more or less.

i put it in my Magical Backpack, useful to carry so many things, even if they weigh the same in most of situations.

Now i reek of Maturity, my equipment as well.

i am not sure why it's called Dwarven Weapon ...because of it's hardness, or smell?

Guard Duty.

Chea on Guard Duty.

Dear Journal,

After succesfully getting past Gnolls, i've assumed a Guard Duty.

Still a bit shaken by Gods' Test that made me run toward War Camp in Glowing Robes while Invisible.

-- Yours, Chea Allin, Cerulean Star 2nd.

P.S. Later An Expedition returned from 'Hell', i do not know details.

Robe not for Invisible.

Dear Journal,

Robe of Scintillating Colors does not work well with the Invisibility spells i know of, including 'Improved Invisibility'.

It emits Light, so even if i am invisible, Gnolls can see a Light Source travelling in the air.

This raises their suspiction, perhaps someday will be smart enough to use 'Invisibility Purge' spell, 'See Invisibility' spell, 'True Seeing' spell, or a potion or a scroll with similar effect. Or anything that works that way.

-- Yours, Chea Allin, Cerulean Star 2nd.

Kobolds' Gold & Light Horse (Frances' Tale).

Frances, Next to Amethyst Festhall in Peltarch.

i went to fight kobolds, found three fanatics with escort, had to retreat; one pursued, killed him off easily.

with spells on, i've played chase & run, killed the rest.

fought for a half of a hour more, then retreated with gold & gems they carried.

went to Norwick to buy a light horse, had to sell few gems.

now i am nearly broke.

Retraining, Howling Woods (Anheim's Tale).

Howling Woods Fight.

i've trained in howling woods, namely:

- concentration during the fight,
- discipline with weapon use,
- tumbling & acrobatic moves during combat,
- toughness,
- stunning fist method,
- atemi,
- resistances to various mental, verbal & physical attacks,
- fearlessness,
- i forgot details & what else ...

outside woods i've practiced arrow deflection.

this all will have to be practiced constantly.

other things to come include:

- much more of the toughness of the precious warrior's body,
- defensive fighting, unarmed, dagger & katana swordplay,
- more discipline with weapons & general focus,
- running speed,
- guards & positions,
- still mind meditation practice.

Many Fights (Anheim's Tale).

Anheim & Corpse Beetle Corpses.

i've participated in many fights as of recent, with Corpse Beetles mostly.

i've been poisoned by black snake, but withstood, cut & cleansed wound letting blood drip.

i've been focusing on training & recovery.

gold coins for an Inn can be obtained from Goblin corpses if neccessary.

-- Anheim, a Warrior in training.

Goblins still a Threat (Anheim's Tale).

Anheim after a Fight, near Norwick Central Fire & Crafters Union Hall.

i've fought few of Goblins, and got nearly killed... Spellyapper took down Shelgarn's Dagger, and rest of them attacked from all sides.

did escape somehow, shooting arrows from my bow.

running with almost lethal wounds, and killing most of goblins worked this time.

at inn i've collapsed.

-- Anheim, nearly dead.

P.S. it's much easier in a team.

Sunday 17 August 2014

Unarmed Victory (Anheim's Tale).

i've noticed that unarmed combat is more reliable against weakest, unarmored opponents.

that's because i am less trained in weapon use, while small agile goblins are often able to dodge 'heavy' strikes.

against fast unarmed move/strike combinations they stand less of a chance.

a Shortbow & Shelgarn's Dagger are very helpful for now, as is Mage Armour spell.

still recovering from wounds, perpetually.

-- Anheim.

Rest at Grapevine Inn of Norwick.

No Drow Seen.

Hook Horror Fight.

Dear Journal,

we went to Underdark via the Kuo-Toa Caverns.

we fought Gnolls, Kuo-Toa, Umber Hulks & Hook Horrors.

no Drow seen, even if i cast Clairaudience / Clairvoyance few times.

got two Arcane Scrolls from Gnarl & from Shesarai: of 'Hold Person' & of 'True Strike'.

robe's dazing ability proved useful.

-- Yours, Chea Allin, Cerulean Star 2nd.

Another Hook Horror Fight.

Out of Coins (Anheim's Tale).

wounds heal slowly here, but still faster with bandages & Inn's rest.

can't stand Chauntean Temple Infirmary, and it's too expensive on top.

when my coinpurse was drained, had to move my ass and start hunting for work.

Grapevine Inn of Norwick with it's Staff.

Taena is a woman to right and next to Anheim.

quick gossip with Taena of Grapevine Inn of Norwick removed my delusions - it's still Goblins & Wolves.

went there, defeated quite a few, earned 5 gold pieces (gp).

should last for two days at Inn, enough to close wounds i think.

... if something won't interfere.

-- Anheim, broke & in training.

Wednesday 13 August 2014

Small Party & Shadows (Anheim's Tale).

Small Party.

i've gone south.

found a small gathering of small people - dwarves & hin perhaps.

they escaped quickly as i've appeared, perhaps afraid of being dominated by a 'Tallie'.

continued to hunt goblins, wolves in Howling Woods, then went South to Old Norwick Ruins to try Shadows, Echoes of Old Norwick - killed two, if i remember well.

-- Anheim, Re-Training.
