Dear Journal,

... Vandals kept destroying sundial in center of Peltarch's Commons.

Now someone named S. Pious sponsored a beautiful statue to stand there ... i hope it won't be destroyed.

There are works of Arts that look differently, depending on how one looks.

This statue's face looks warm and nice in daylight, and sinister during nighttime.

... Verika said it could be unintentional effect, but i so doubt it ... such Art pieces are not made by mistake.

... i've admired statue for a while and cast detect magic spell ... it is not enchanted by magick, it is enchanted by dilligent work of Artist who made it.


'Art is slightly magical ... the subtler Art the better'.


Looking at plaque, learned sponsor's name: 'S. Pious'.

... would sponsor ... if i find him or her lead me to Artist, statue's maker?

... i've tried my search in Triad's Temple ... donated 200 gp and told that i look for statue's artist and sponsor.

They gladly took donation and told me they'll contact me in few days' time.

... one of questions i have for maker ... is it this art's message that its nice and caring during day, and sinister to evil creatures of the night.

... for Art speaks, conveys messages, has it's meanings.

... a lot is going on but i do not write about these things in you, Dear Journal.

Today Black Rider was attacking people in Nars Pass ... killed and abducted children to lure me to fight.

... we did fight with Nathelin, a monk friend of mine ... against demons, nightmare horse, and this Black Knight, Black Rider.

... kids were saved, but their families wounded or dead.

Diamond Dagger.

Dear Journal,

... Finally got it.

... Finally got diamond dagger, ordered it via Hemrod ... it cost me 8 000 gold pieces, have 25 000 left.

... without discount it'd cost me 10 000, but Hemrod was feeling generous after i warned Peltarch Defenders about magickal war machine (golem) that attacked City of Peltarch recently.

... 25 000 gold pieces is enough to bring me back if i die, without suffering life force drain ... that's the difference between Raise Dead and Resurrection spells.

As for a diamond dagger, its useful tool for meditational practice and esoterics. It severs all that hinders.

Could remove my abstract diamond dagger tattoo on my left hand.

... after removing tattoo used flask with regenerating liquid to remove scars ... not only from tattoo.

... i've used it to look younger, it affected my whole body.
