The Choker of Evoker (Frances' Tale).

My grasp over finer details of magick isn't so great, i've spent a lot of time training archery - so i didn't have time.

Today however, met Kenton Seth in his shop. He's powerful wizard and warrior too - probably best user of Tenser's Transformation spell in whole Narfell.

He sold me amulet that makes my evocation spells as fireball or firebrand harder to dodge and resist. For mere 6 000 gp - on a condition that we'll hunt giants together soon.

Dragon vs. Dragon, Gold vs. White (Frances' Tale).


At first we met wounded Gold Dragon.

He was resting in Nars Pass, as some cultists pursued him - wanting to finish him off.

They were part of: 'Cult of the Dragon'.

We protected so Golden could recover and take his flight away.

Before leaving, he told us that there's very evil dragon around ... who wounded him.

Then we were hired in Peltarch by a guy named: 'Coyote' to infiltrate some soldiers near ruined Jiyyd ... they camped over one of hills there.

We killed a few and wore their amulets, waiting for leaders to come give us orders.

Instead of human superiors, however - White Dragon came.

He was wounded and upset, throwing orders on us in a scary way.

We got book with orders and magickal rune to put in jiyyd's soldiers camp.

Instead of doing this we ran invisibly to Peltarch ... fearing of being observed from above.

We put rune on ground in peltarch commons and it started to glow on and off ... then we found ourselves teleported to some empty grey plane.

I've visualized Gold Dragon in mind and imagined sending him a message: 'Come now, help us'.

Golden light filled our eyes and we found ourselves back in Peltarch .... in commons.

Commons were as after explosion, a crater and a few of charred skeletons about.


I've returned to inn ... had enough of shock for a while.

... Ah, 'Coyote' paid use 1500 gp each too.

Tenser's Transformation (Frances' Tale).

... i did it.

Finally, learned the spell of Tenser's Transformation.

-=- After casting, eyes glow. -=-



It lasts for a short while - a little over a minute - and turns caster into the Killing Machine.

For the spell's duration it makes caster more accurate with weapons, faster with weapons, tougher, stronger, more dextrous, harder to hit ... and adds to caster's fortitude - and with better dexterity - also to his/her reflexes.

For duration of spell, however - one can't cast spells.

It can be combined with other enhancement spell(s) such as mage armour, haste, cat's grace and/or other(s) ... on condition that these spells are cast before casting Tenser's Transformation.

Overall - despite it's faults - it's Powerful addition to spells that i know.

15th Arcane Initiation.


Dear Journal,

... i've initiated myself into the Arcane Mastery again, 15th time in this life.

'Energy Channels' in my Mind, Speech & Body were purified & opened, allowing Arcane & Enlightened Energies to flow more freely.


... learned spells of 'Plane Shift', 'Greater Spell Breach', 'Hold Monster' & 'Find Traps' ... but lost 'Hold Person' spell.


... 'Greater Spell Breach' spell removes up to 4 protective spells on one target in a single cast ... and also works on other protecting powers, such as Spell Resistance.


... 'Hold Monster' spell works similar to 'Hold Person', but works on more types of beings than just humanoids,

... one example is giants, unaffected by 'Hold Person' ... but susceptible to 'Hold Monster',

... 'Hold Monster' spell is more difficult to resist than 'Hold Person' as well,

... 'Hold Person' is 3rd circle spell, 'Hold Monster' is 5th circle spell ... so 'Hold Monster' casting uses up more energy than casting 'Hold Person' spell.


... thanks to 'Plane Shift' spell i can travel between worlds and dimensions ... either alone or in group of up to 8 people, counting me in as one of these.

... thus i am now one of 'Planeswalkers',

... its a great power and a title of great prestige.

... perhaps it has uses in controlling where and how one reincarnates after death, perhaps it's related with 'Phowa' practice that does just that.


Also, subtle intricaties for Enchantment magick became more clear, and better understood by me. / Chea got: 'Spell Focus: Enchantment' feat /. My Enchantment spells are harder to resist now.

Kensho, Attentus' incarnation was great help in this ... he has natural talent for Enchantment magicks / Kensho has: 'Greater Spell Focus: Enchantment' feat /.


With greater focus on Illusions and focus on Enchantments, can weave Enchanting Illusions now ... perhaps for more than for art performances & entertainment only.


When wearing my Witch Stone Ring, Staff of Complete Concentration and Enigma Robe - i can cast following amount of spells per day:

Cantrips: 6/day,
1st Circle: 8/day,
2nd Circle: 9/day,
3rd Circle: 8/day,
4th Circle: 7/day,
5th Circle: 7/day,
6th Circle: 7/day.
7th Circle: 4/day.

0th Circle Spells are called Cantrips.

While impressed by people who manage to be good, he considers himself 'too weak to be good'.

Ninjutsu is evil path.

... at least hunting orcs, kobolds & giants helps local community, beside giving gold coins.
