Enchanting Illusions.

Dear Journal,

... i have a dream.

... i dream about mastering enchantment magick, so i can cast enchanting illusions - sinister, eerie and beautiful ... somewhat scary, yet gentle, slightly seductive, distant as stars that along with Selune-moon light a night-sky ... expressive as any of perfected Art forms.

... i want to work meticulously with details, so these will have Nuomenal depth and feeling.


... i've progressed far with illusions already ... what draws me to it is still is understanding 'illusory nature of reality', something that far-eastern / thinking of Kara-Tur here / philosophies and religions talk a lot about.

The 'True Seeing' spell that i learned a while ago - helps too.

... i say that 'True Seeing' spell gives me 'Second Sight', that can pierce through illusions.

After going past veils of illusions thanks to the Second Sight, my knowledge and experiences with illusions allow me to understand what's true, what's illusion, and how illusions work, from what parts they consist.


... i am working on enchantments, but its a slow process.


What's an illusion, and what's not?

... well, aside tricks of colours and light/shadows that hide imperfections and emphasize what's beautiful ... or do other things ... there are illusions that affect all of senses / sight, hearing, scent ... etc. /

... can a simple makeup work be considered illusion? in a way it can be, i think.

There are beings and phenomena in reality. Beings have mind, phenomena do not.

... i think makeup, clothing etc. are phenomena created by wishes of beings that people could be more beautiful, that world could be more beautiful.

After making a wish, many of people start to experiment and work, trying to find a way to make their wish(es) come true and real.

Can all of phenomena be considered illusions? In a way, perhaps ... but i think it's too far-fetched simplification.


How will i look when dressed elegantly, when wearing a nice evening dress ... when wearing around clothing a beautiful, enchanting illusion?


... i need to experiment with scents, will wear new perfumes as well.

Illusory Nature of Reality.

Dear Journal,

is reality truly real?

can we safely build our future, without worrying that it changes too much?

when someone dies, reality changes... possibly causing great damage to those affected.

nothing is permanent, i think.

i'll leave You too as well someday, Dear Journal.

but there's Reincarnation - rebirth in another body after death, thankfully or not.

i admit, i know too little of that process.

Nuomen & Phenomen.

Dear Journal,

I am adding few precious magical words to my collection. These are:

Nuomen:

Many things exists in world of ideas, but not in physical world. Still they do affect physical world just by affecting how we think. Perhaps more.

Nuomen is word describing something insubstantial, intangible, that cannot be perceived. Such things do not exist. (for example 'Nuomenal World of Imagination'). Nuomen does not exist by definition, but this word can be used to describe things as such. It's said that Imagination has power.

Phenomen:

Phenomen can be physical and/or perceived. It has no mind, but sometimes can be treated as being, (which differs from Phenomen with having Mind) for it can act in similar way.

P.S. Dear Reader, when Women are Nuomenal, better leave them be. When they are Mesmeric, it's time to enjoy (without overeagerness).

Illusions and Allusions.

Illusion Magick is about covering hidden moves with larger ones.

They can be gestures, words or combinations of such.

Allusions can hint something or distract from something that mage or his friend is doing, so observer has no idea how it's done.

Sometimes few words have so many hidden meanings that you can only smile and relax without understanding how they work, how much work of how many people is involved.

You can be suprised what you can see on the stage, and how it can help someone understand cause and effect, to help them.

Illusions and Delusions.

I should add this, dear journal.

Illusion leave shadow (shadow is inner dragon, dragon is symbol of fear, defeating dragon means conquering fear), in form of delusions that haunt.

It takes time to purify them, but one can learn much from them too.

Dear reader, do not abuse illusion, for it has consequences.
