Dear Journal,

... with Elvadriel & my new acquanitance - adventurer named 'Soros', A Hunter & Warrior, we have looked for typical trouble & adventuring rewards.

We've met at the 'Crossroads' in the Nars Pass, talked for a while & played with Elva's 'Eyeball' familiar the game of 'fetch the gem'.

Then we went North to Swamps near Peltarch, to the Kobold Cave, to the Lizardlands & past these both - to the Near' Troll Bogs.

It was a rather long exploration trip with not so great spoils ... still better than nothing, of course.

P.S. My 'Hold Person' a Spell proved very useful against the 'Tougher of Lizards' as well.

P.S.S. i didn't attempt to find Nade, for such trips are too dangerous for her.

P.S.S.S. During this a trip, i've learned a new & quite nasty trick for the Arcane Healing. ... just summon a weak evil being, then cast 'Vampiric Touch' spell on it. Even if it's killed, the nature of 'Summon' spells makes it's body reform mostly unharmed in a day or so - in it's home 'Plane of Existence'.

Questionable Treasure of the Swamps.

Dear Journal,

i went swamps, hunting for coins.

... met a woman called Willow who found 'a treasure' there, or so she told ...

my own reward was:

- a few of gold pieces,
- a few of semi-precious gems,
- a stirge's poison in my veins, that didn't pass after a rest.

P.S. it's said that most treasured 'a Flower of the Swamps' is called 'Lotus'.

P.S.S. can 'a Lotus Flower' survive without other plants as 'Sundew' ? without other 'Swamp Critters' as well ?

it seems that kobold swamps near Peltarch are important part of my world, my turf.

perhaps i'll build a hut there.

i wished to examine a creature known as 'Swamp Wisp' closely.

went invisible past a 'Kobold Swamp', into outskirts of lizardmen territory.

found a Wisp using my Clairvoyant Powers.

i walked closer & closer, then wisp sensed me despite invisibility & disappeared.

ran back to Peltarch, avoiding the swamps' creatures.

Dear Journal,

She met a monk of Old Order who was trained a 'little of meditation and combat ways'. His master left him to pursue his life as he pleases. Vow he took was not by his Master.

She met interresting people in commons until, she decided to leave to stalk, for she missed her best company, Nade afterall.

Swamps can be alluring and romantic when there's Nade, little danger, and something to be won.

Overall good evening, she thinks.

Another swamp trip in Tiamat's service.

Again armour wet, i had to dry it by fireplace at the 'Dancing Mermaid'.

My friend from Peltarch Defenders, Adelie De'Lanieth thinks that swamps are romantic, and perhaps they are.

I can tatter myself a little when it protects the Child.
