i've visited Older of Norwick's Family Crypts.

faced skeletons, zombies & the rotting zombie.

i wasn't able to 'hurt' rotting zombie with nonmagical weapons, either scimitar or staff...

but two call lightning spells put to rest this undead atrocity well enough.

healing spells can also destroy undead, but call lightning was more efficient, even if it was underground.
