Kobolds of the Cave.

Embarking on a Kobold Cave patrol.


Dear Journal,

i went to Kobold Cave again with my panther familiar,

fought Kobold Silencer in melee with Staff, as Nade snuck on him & killed.

followed deeper into the cave, killed two Kobold Adepts with spells, as Nade was wounded by more - so i've did unsummon her with a dismissive gesture.

she returned to her home plane to recover from wounds hastily.

after impulse to run that i could not resist despite calm mind, i've returned to the Cave to recover killed Kobolds' equipment.

invisible, i've used 'Shelgarn's Persistent Blade' to distract those near dead Kobold Adepts' remains, as i snuck & stole their equipment for sale.

it is said that Kobolds follow Dragons & form Dragon Cults, as is said that Sorcerers have Blood of the Dragons.

P.S. Known problem of Adventurers is turning into metaphorical monsters, as they gain in power. i think that power should not be misused or such corruption hastens inside a person & leads to terrible deeds & sorrow of many as hero turns into a villain.

P.S.S. People as they age should be more responsible, but i still found no True Love so i have to fight still - both internally against corruption & externally against monsters. another question is whether one can stop fighting after finding her True Love.

Does the 'Art of Paper Folding', 'Origami', has a sway on Reality?

i think yes.

This takes time, but results can be exceptional to how people move when Artist does this properly enough.

Equipment (Anheim's Tale).

Recently a thought haunts me, urging to sell equipment that i need, too cheaply - suspecting magical attack.

Should talk with Chea, but do not want to bother her with that.

Spell Energy.

Dear Journal,

Sorcerers in this land go through many initiations & acquire access to new Spell Circles as they progress with experience.

After first initiation they can cast few of 1st circle spells & cantrips, few times a day.

After next initiations - more & more.

Details of how many spells of certain type can be formed a day depends on innate talent & charisma, on metamagics, on magic items used & on initiation level of a caster.

There are cases when spells go awry or fail to be cast succesfully. This is caused by wild magic & null magic zones, equipment.

Spells can be dispelled or countered as well.

There's much more to tell but it's advanced lesson.

drained of energy, yet something pushed me to wade in swamps for too long.

i've faced 'Spelless Death' in kobolds' swamps, nearly.

i suspect the danger of Artful Nature.

i didn't drown.

still had energy to return to 'Mermaid' where it's safe to meditate for spells.

it occured to me as i walked through kobolds, paralyzing them with a 'Hold Person' spell, without killing.

i didn't meditate on Enlightened Love yet.

i meditated only on Spells.

what's the point?

meditation puts someone into a Trance, i think.

Trance is mind's state of focus on a certain cause, where anything that hinders is neglected no matter the cost.

certainly, i should change.
