Word Mandala means: 'Powerfield'.
One can build magical powerfield by making friends with people who practice magick.
Magical animals, familiars and other beings of magical nature can also help here.
Without magical powerfield one's spells do not work - even when caster uses properly right words, gestures, and material components.
When casting spells, one taps magical energy from his or her powerfield ... from beings who create the powerfield.
Wise spellcaster rewards beings in his or her powerfield before their friendship and patience runs out.
How to reward? Either by allowing them to tap on caster's energy, by wisdom lessons and advices - telepathic or not, by coming to aid when need, etc ...
... i should also add that it's best to cast spells in teams. One can for example ask telepathically a friend from powerfield to light a candle or incense, to cast a spell or help in other ways.
Teamwork is needed the most when one is beginning spellcasting career. Friends can advise and cover beginner's mistakes that could have disastrous effects if not corrected by friends.
What if one is not a telepath?
One can try meditation to become a telepath, or pray to become telepath ... or pray for rewards for friends. One can also pray for wisdom, or for assistance in case of mistakes, etc ...

Sacred Art (Crystal's Tale).
Arts have uses in spirituality.
What is imagined, visualized in mind - can be shared ... one can paint sacred image for others, so they can use it as support for their meditation.
When i meditate, often visualize Enlightened Energies and Gods of either gender.
... when i meditate, also observe my breath and try to see it changing colors: clear and transparent when outside, in front of my nose ... slowly turning red as i inhale ... then slowly turning blue as i exhale. Then clear again, and so on ...
... i am counting breaths using my mala as well.
... also trying to feel energies circulating in my body, gently guiding them with imagination.
... but back to topic of forms visualization used in meditation.
Recently wanted some miracles and related wisdoms to self-arise via insights and visions ... so i did imagine following:
1. Enlightened Energy of Miracles and learning via identification, also called 'Lotus born' - in middle of my imagined image.
2. Three Protectors, each also called Great Black - occupying lower parts of image. Bottom is foundation, so those who care for safety should be in this place.
3. Oghma, godess of knowledge and wisdom to left of 'Lotus born'.
4. Savras, god of divination practicioneers to right of 'Lotus born'.
5. Enlightened Energy of Wisdom, also called Vairocana - on top of my image.
How to read this image?
In this composition, this works like this:
Enlightened Energies have human forms.
Both Enlightened Energies, as well as gods & goddesses carry various symbols, tools they use. For example, Great Black wields knife that cuts through everything that distract or hinder. Oghma wields bell and wears pentacle - symbols of Wisdom ... and so on.
During meditation one tries to be like one in middle, like 'Lotus born' in this case. One tries to get in character, one tries to identify - to acquire precious qualities of figure in middle for oneself.
Lotus born is safe to practice his meditation thanks to protectors. He works with god and godess at his sides, exchanging opinions, learning together, helping many beings together.
Finally, place on top of image is more or less, main authority. Lotus born identifies with Vairocana, accepting blessings, guidance and wisdom lessons.

Kabuki Doll (Character Description).
Name: Kabuki Doll.
- also called: Kabuki Lala.
Character Idea: Young idealist & kabuki theatre actress who can't sing.
Background:
She was born in Cormyr, and there learned Kara-Turan theatre, Kabuki Theatre.
After learning what she could, she travelled far and wide - occasionally stopping to perform at inns for gold, so she could sustain herself.
Currently her travels took her to narfell.
... will she stay?
Spirituality:
... follows Finder Wyvernspur (god of cycles of life and arts) Lliira ('our lady of joy', godess of joy, happiness, contentment, dance, freedom, release, festivals).
... she also meditates on arts, on freedom and on spells.
Kabuki Doll & Kabuki Theatre:
Kabuki is a classical Kara-Turan dance-drama. Kabuki theatre is known for the stylization of its drama, the often-glamorous costumes worn by performers, and for the elaborate kumadori make-up worn by some of its performers.
Kumadori is the stage makeup worn by kabuki actors. The term also applies to a painting method in which two brushes are used simultaneously, one for the color and the other used to create shading or other details.
Kumadori makeup generally consists of brightly coloured stripes or patterns over a white foundation, the colours and patterns symbolising aspects of the character.
Since the word kabuki is believed to derive from the verb kabuku, meaning 'to lean' or 'to be out of the ordinary', kabuki can be interpreted as 'avant-garde' or 'b0izarre' theatre.
Kabuki is sometimes translated as 'the art of singing and dancing'. These are, however, probably wrong translation & etymology.
Kabuki Doll was trying to learn singing, to sing & dance - just in case ... but her troubles with voice made her singing very poor.
She left Kabuki Theatre School and decided to develop her own art style.

Crystal, Loving Eye of Savras (Character Description).
Character Idea:
... a Disciplined Female Diviner Witch, she who Sees True, she who pierces through Illusions and Deceit.
Of Chakras, Energy Centers in human body, she did develop Heart and Thrid Eye Chakras the most (equally), then Crown Chakra (less than Heart and Thrid Eye), then remaining Chakras (least, equally).
Alignment: Lawful Good.
Spirituality:
Follows Savras (god of diviners), Oghma (godess of knowledge and wisdom), Selune (moonmaiden godess), Sune (godess of love) and Mystra (godess of magic).
... she also meditates on spells, on truth, on love and feelings, on compassion and on wisdom.
Appearance:
She has silver crystal-coral trident embroided on her black evening dress with naked upper back, a symbol of awakened energies beautifully interwoven with silver symbols of Savras, Oghma, Selune, Sune and Mystra. Wears well-fitting black pants with silver linings on external sides, and high boots of black leather, also with silver linings - fitting extension of her pants..
Her skin is soft and white, her eyes are blue with black eyelashes and black brows ... her hair is light blonde, reaching two fingers below where neck ends and shoulders start. Her lips are coloured with ruby-red lipstick, her fingernails are long and red.
Her silhouette is light, slim, sexy and beautiful. Her height is about 170 centimeters.
Background:
She was born in Damara and for a while she served in Damaran military as a scout and spy ... she approached enemy soldiers invisibly to fairly close but still safe distance, then used clairaudience/clairvoyance to gather information. Her magic had other uses as well ... both spells, divination cards deck and other.
After war, Savras told her (vision in mind via Thrid Eye and Crown Chakras) to seek her fortune in Narfell.
Stats, Spells & Notable Items:
Waukeen's Business (Zak's Tale).
... i try to follow many gods and godesses, mostly Tempus (god of warriors), also Waukeen (godess of trade and wealth), and Mystra (godess of magick).
... i also meditate on spells.
In Peltarch some enterpreneur opened six merchant's stalls for hire ... i took one of them in service to Waukeen. Not many wares offered by me for now but still ... perhaps will be more useful later.
Sold almost-spent masque of cyric with potent destructive power ... sold for 600 gp, of which 540 was for me. That is, enterpreneur took 10% of sale.
Also bought some items from various shops:
- Leaf Blade, Two-Bladed Sword (worth about 6 500 gp),
- Strength Gauntlets, (worth about 4 000 gp)
- Cloak of Invisibility (worth 500 gp),
- Masterwork Yew Longbow (worth 7 500 gp),
- 10 Potions of Cure Serious Wounds (worth 75 gp x 10 = 750 gp),
- 10 Potions of Barkskin (worth about 75 gp x 10 = 750 gp),
- Other minor trinkets (each worth in range from 50 gp to 500 gp).
-=- Potions & other trinkets. -=-
-=- On this equipment page are things to which Zak needs easy access in battles. -=-
-=- Also, there are worn items. -=-
... i've bought heavy war horse too, from Peltarch Stables, for 1 000 gp.
... also, ordered an item from Sister of bones in Oscura - ordered enchanted a suit of scale armour that helps in spellcasting instead of hindering it.
Sisters of Bones are an Arcane Order, Arcane Might of Oscura, practicing mostly necromancy - but other magic schools as well.
... i heard that a member has to be careful to not be too succesful in their trade - or ends up with 'the success' of becoming a Lich.
Scales are worth about 15 000 gp, but i am not selling it for now. Ordered for about 6 500 gp, but it also cost me some of my life energy - that's why the price difference.
Ah yes ... masterwork steel scale mail along with other enchanting components also cost me - about 4 000 gp.

Key to City of Doors (Zak's Tale).
It was quite adventure, but i'll be brief in my journal.
A group of adventurers that i was in followed clues and found strange key. Mage woman called Verika took it.
While she had the key in hand she could see doors to other planes ... and we went through one of portals to a place called: 'City of Doors'.
It was submerged in glass-looking water and had many doors that Verika could see.
We fought creatures coming from doors and she found way back to Peltarch in the Prime Material Plane - to our home.
She said that merely holding the key posed a danger of being pulled in to some unknown place, often dangerous.
Since a while before we went back to Peltarch we've seen an albino crow that observed us ... was it some mage's familiar?
In Peltarch this raven found us again and spoke to us in our minds ... said he (or she?) was glad that we made it back safely and offered a trade - something we desired for the priceless key.
Most of us chose mutual effort and cooperation, some wanted knowledge ... i wanted enchanted boots of dodging.
A while later raven found me and led to a place where boots were stored for me.
... these are quite expensive (around 8000 gp?).
... i was glad that raven kept its promise.
-=- Boots of Protection. -.-
-=- Worth about 8 000 gp, but not for sale for now. -=-
