Orc Cave & Longbone Debt Repaid (Isendir's Tale).

Visited Orc Cave a number of times, slowly gathering coin to pay my debt to Bronn, for the 'Longbone' Bow.

On last visit i wasn't alone, yet orcs had reinforcements - four Magicians & a Veteran, as well as unusually high numbers of Thugs & an Umberhulk.

We found some treasure, i was one who disabled trap & unlocked chest.

When we shared spoils in town, i hid a part of what i found, stealing from the party.

Then i participated in dice-rolling & sharing, taking even more.

Someday my greed will be my defeat, but for now i profit.

P.S. i met Bronn Razenk a while later & paid him coins - now i owe him nothing.

Kobolds of the Cave.

Embarking on a Kobold Cave patrol.


Dear Journal,

i went to Kobold Cave again with my panther familiar,

fought Kobold Silencer in melee with Staff, as Nade snuck on him & killed.

followed deeper into the cave, killed two Kobold Adepts with spells, as Nade was wounded by more - so i've did unsummon her with a dismissive gesture.

she returned to her home plane to recover from wounds hastily.

after impulse to run that i could not resist despite calm mind, i've returned to the Cave to recover killed Kobolds' equipment.

invisible, i've used 'Shelgarn's Persistent Blade' to distract those near dead Kobold Adepts' remains, as i snuck & stole their equipment for sale.

it is said that Kobolds follow Dragons & form Dragon Cults, as is said that Sorcerers have Blood of the Dragons.

P.S. Known problem of Adventurers is turning into metaphorical monsters, as they gain in power. i think that power should not be misused or such corruption hastens inside a person & leads to terrible deeds & sorrow of many as hero turns into a villain.

P.S.S. People as they age should be more responsible, but i still found no True Love so i have to fight still - both internally against corruption & externally against monsters. another question is whether one can stop fighting after finding her True Love.

i went to Old Gypsy Camp, now free of Gnolls.

Passed invisible to Spider Woods and found Cat Cave.

Spiders attacked me but i didn't kill any despite of that.

Cats there are still alive, thankfully.

intuition told me to scout Rawlinswoods.

found flames doused by rain, probably druids involved.

near cave there were large paw marks.

i picked up some grass for spells personally, then used clairvoyance / clairaudience to see more.

will use clairvoyance again if i can.

P.S. Rass, 'Ancient Red Dragon' is returning to Narfell, rumours say. She perhaps had eggs or offspring in this a cave. Will stay away from that Dragon, if i can. Esoteric Dragon is enough for me.

i've dared to peek inside Kobolds' Cave, rumored to contain kobold warriors, of a more seasoned warrior type than those usually spotted outside.

Dear Journal,

We (Nade and i) have dared Kobolds Cave. There was one kobold assassin, or 'Silencer' as they are called commonly. Nade found him (she can sniff), wounded, and forced to flee. Rest of them were easy picks.

Summary:

Restoration Scroll,
Entropic Shield Scroll,
Paralytic Crossbow Bolt,
Cure Light Wounds Balm,
2xLight Crossbow,
and few more little valuables.

Should be worth some coin.
