Dear Journal,

... i've been skrying, observing the skies, doing other arcane and divinatory practices.

As the fates spin, as karma turns, the Aquarius Zodiac is gaining in Power, Magic Awakens across many Worlds.

Beings from hells and from other lower planes awaken, reincarnating as humans, as beasts, as ghosts.

... i've foreseen that gods answer to the subconscious prayers of many beings, of beings that are scared of the incoming darkness.

There's a rise among 'light points', among beings that are spiritually developed.

Attentus' next incarnation of major significiance shall come to Narfell someday, i got a few clues as well - but he's just a small point of light on the sky dark as night.

... i've foreseen that most likely he will be given name 'Kensho', a Kara-turan word for 'awareness', for 'awakening', for 'comprehension, understanding', and for 'seeing nature, essence'. 'Ken' in Shou, Kara-Turan language is not only 'seeing' but also 'sword'. Perceptions as sharp as blade's edge come to mind with that.

i like that, and will try to ensure.

Attentus wielded not only magic, but also sword at end of his life - this implies strong Kara-turan warrior's Karma that wanes as his lives progress.

... probably he'll be born in Damara, in a family of westerners well-versed in Kara-Turan traditions of Magic and Spirituality, and his name will be given after an old warrior-monk friend of that family who will die at Attentus' age of 9.

.... if i am not wrong, he will be taught meditation since early childhood and his sorcerous powers will awaken that way.

... i've foreseen that Mystra, Selûne and Azuth influenced his destiny - so he'll be guided to 'control' incoming 'hordes of darkness', in the name of Light.

... he will also gain attention of Kara-turan lesser sage-deity of Lightning and Martial Arts, Raiden - but i could not see why, so far.

... i've foreseen that there will be many others as him, as too much of responsibility and power would destroy him.

Gods seem to spare him too much of that burden, for now, i think.

Night with Kuo-Toa.

Dear Journal,

i went to fight Kuo-Toa & Snakes again.

Shlegarn's Knife is unneccessary when fighting snakes, i can defeat them without ...
... but it hastes the process ...
... as time flies, spells fade away ...
... i'll keep using it as energy saver if neccessary, again.

Fighting Kuo Toa,

killed few of Priestesses, i think ...
nothing worth of looting, but not only that.

i've retreated when i still could, with a small reserve of magical spells.

i lost my mind a little, as i removed magical spells i cast ... too close to Oscura.

i've rested, regained magical energy & spells, closed doors behind me to dormitory, common sleeping room ... then i sat at my usual place waiting for something to happen.

Night Hunt (Anheim's Tale).

this night i hunted in Rawlins.

few of Shinbiter Goblins, a Wolf, and a goblin caster - Spellyapper.

next day i've ventured to woods again, defeated many this time, with use of spells.

then i've retreated to a Grapevine Inn of Norwick.

two castings of 'Mage Armour' spell barely lasted this trip.

Night Stars.

Evening with Cray.

Dear Journal,

i've met in commons a Ranger, sitting on a tree branch,

we talked about Selûne, about love, he fell from the tree when i used word 'sex' as a warning,

this Fallen Ranger didn't rise, untill Oscuran Friend Cray came,

then we talked about Selûne with Cray, about evening and drinking... he mentioned blood.

is he a Vampire?

i left, i would die if he drank my blood, i think.

'- Night in Oscura -

Wretched incompetent slave thought that he can serve me. I tested him. We went to Lizard men, he died, i managed to run away. His incompetence costed me some of my sanity and precious resources, but then i had my revenge and got his gear. I had to use them, my father would be very disappointed if i died. It was close, several times.

I will talk to them if they come for his gear.

I recovered what was lost, said prayers and mantras.

His equipment is mine, i earned it. I will probably sell this, except one thing - claw.

Worst of it was that i had to avenge him. But in reality i did protect him.

- Travel -

I wore victory robe, sword drawn in hand, i ran past snakes to Norwick.

- Day in Rawlinswood -

I was lost there. Goblins swarmed me. It didn't help that i shouted away. Loud clear message made them swarm me even more. I used even more resources. It was shock. I lived and felt that someone helped me somehow, as they started to run away at some point.

"Whoever you are, thank you"

Without thinking i continued and found a man lost in wood, sinking in mire. I was shocked he wasn't saying anything. I told him and had to repeat this louder that he should take my hand. He did and i pulled him away. He was free. We talked about brave man that died in oscura, brave but stupid... He was avenged, but won't return... he wasn't happy here. I have his gear, i will use it, i owe him this. He's now in more fitting place, fugue is but a transition to other planes.

I felt better helping one man and talking about death of another man.

He said.. that he's glad that i recovered some of my old self that i helped him. But in truth... i never lost it. All i lost was pity.. And I got much more.

We parted, alone i sat a while and cried silently.'

Selune's Holy Day coming.

Dear Journal,

Rumours reached me that Selune's Holy Day (Night Stalk) will perhaps be celebrated at Temple Lighthouse in Peltarch, soon.

I've left Oscura for now and started preparations.
