As my combat skills advance, i draw attention of tougher foes.

... i've understood that i need better equipment - especially of protecting nature.

... i can use only a few of equipment pieces, so i need to invest in quality - and this is not cheap.

... found someone who sold me Ring of Protection - for 7 000 gold pieces - with medium-strong protecting enchantments, that made most of my Black Belt's enhancements obsolete.

... as equipment's power increase, certain pieces of equipment do not need to be carried or worn, can be replaced with better-enchanted items.

... also bought 'Bo Staff' - for 3 000 gold pieces - enchanted to wound those of the beasts, that are resillent to non-magical and weakly-magical weapon.

It's a large & long Staff, requires great strength to wield it efficiently - should look for 'Bull's Strength' Potions and for 'Greater Bull's Strength' Potions, that are good choices complimentary to the Bo Staff.

P.S. Buying already-made equipment saves one of the chores of going through enchantment, and related memory loss and other mind-body weakening. i am trying to buy what's worthwhile, then to enchant rest of what i need.

Kobolds & Equipment (Isendir's Tale).

i've found out that it pays much better to hunt kobolds instead of goblins.

Acquired coin for some of my new equipment - for a Dark Cloak & for one Chameleon Ring.

Kobold Fanatics occasionally use well-made sickles, found one & planning to use for a while instead of my short sword.

During a fight with kobolds, however, got a bit drained by a Stirge.

it happens that after an adventure, equipment is often more or less a mess.

it needs to be arranged occasionally.

when it's in proper places, it's easier to find what's needed in a short time.

this is useful during adventures & missions.

potions for example, are easier reached when time is vital ... if they are segregated properly, sorted & placed in pockets, in belt, in a box.

healing potions i keep at hand, others are in a box.

i've noticed the need for enchanted equipment's acquisition.

my means are too poor to compete with other nobles.

i can enchant a modest magic item or few, in Oscura Library's Laboratory Room.

would need gold ring or other well made item as a base for enchantment ritual.

... there are other costs involved as well.

managed to acquire 900 gold coin, if neccessary can sell potions to Hemrod ...

... or just get coin patiently from 'kobold patrols' in swamps next to Peltarch.

Recently a thought haunts me, urging to sell equipment that i need, too cheaply - suspecting magical attack.

Should talk with Chea, but do not want to bother her with that.

i've looked at my equipment.

replaced shortbow & arrows with Oscuran light crossbow & bolts.

bought shuriken.

bought skull helmet & crow's beak helmet.

both might be useful at Oscuran masked parties & ceremonies, not only in a fight.
