Back in Narfell.

Dear Journal,

... i've visited Damara and sought a boy named Kensho.

My insights and other signs led me to his birth place, to his family.

... i've charmed secretly his parents, cast spells hidden at night by house's window. Then i've knocked to their doors and revealed myself.


I've explained that boy has great destiny before him in Narfell, and that he needs arcane training, lessons i can offer him. After a long talk, under charm spells, they let me take boy with myself.

... i've joined escorted caravan from Damara to Narfell, i've paid them in full.

Soon i'll find old friends, and introduce them to Kensho - i'll pretend i am his mom.

Back to Norwick.

Getting back into shape after visit in fugue can be slow.

I ended up in typical place for too weak for others to consider them seriously, in Howling Woods.

Keeping goblin population down is important and practiced as a way to train in combat ways.

I've used my bow, rapid firing and fast, so goblin spellyappers could not focus on their spells.

When it came to close combat i relied mostly on my staff, with more or less elaborate circular movements, but also on panther i've bought to compensate for loss of my ice mephit familiar. Perhaps i'll find him later.
